Start using your set-top box
Before you start using your set-top box, you need to follow these initial steps.
Connect the power supply to the power plug and to a wall socket.
Connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI port and to your TV.
Press On/Off on the remote control to turn on your set-top box.
Press SOURCE or INPUT on your remote control.
A list of connected inputs is displayed on the TV screen.
Select the HDMI input that your set-top box is connected to.
When this screen is displayed, your set-top box is ready for setup.
To connect your set-top box to the internet via cable, connect an Ethernet cable to the network port and the other end to a LAN port in your modem or router and follow the instructions on the screen to select setup via Ethernet connection.
To connect your set-top box to the internet using Wi-Fi, select WiFi using password.
Select the required Wi-Fi network.
Key in the password for the Wi-Fi network.
Select Continue.
Select Continue.
If prompted, turn on the Bluetooth connection for the remote control by following the instructions on the screen.
Select Continue.
Select the required setting.
Follow the instructions on the screen to connect your set-top box to your Sky account and to finish setting up your set-top box.
